What to Expect on Your First Visit

After being welcomed into the office, you will have a consultation with the doctor and she will go over your main concerns for your office visit, your personal health history, and your ultimate goals for better health. The doctor will then perform a physical and orthopedic examination that will help determine the best course of treatment in order to help you reach your goals for better health.

Children will be examined very much the same depending on the age of the child. We try our best to help make your child's visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

We understand that health care can be costly and therefore believe that finding the root cause of your problems and treating it early will ultimately save you time and more costs in the future. It is far less costly to maintain your good health, rather than waiting until serious problems arise!

Some Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the initial visit? Follow-up visits?

New patient visits are usually one-hour long and includes treatment. This includes going over your present complaints, your pertinent health history, spinal examination, and first treatment session.

Follow-up visits are approximately 25-30 minutes. Frequency of visits are determined based on your diagnosis and how well your body responds to treatments.

During a prenatal visit we often go over pregnancy goals, birth plans and wishes so we can work together with your health provider to help prepare you for the best birthing experience possible.

Can I fill out the initial intake forms beforehand?

Yes! The initial intake form is located on the bottom of this page. Please fill them out and bring them with you on your first visit.

Can I bring my children with me to my office visits?

Yes of course! We are a family-based practice with a very kid-friendly atmosphere. Our assistants are usually available to keep an eye on the little ones while they play in the kids corner. We're also more than happy to hold the younger babies while you get adjusted. We would love to meet you and the rest of your family!

Do you accept health insurance?

Our office accepts a very LIMITED amount of PPO plans. We do not accept any HMO, EPO, Medi-Cal or Medicare plans. We are considered an "OUT-OF-NETWORK" provider so coverage depends on your out-of-network deductible and limits which are almost always different than your in-network benefits.

What if I don't have health insurance?

Not a problem! The majority of our patients pay out of pocket for their care as most insurance companies have limited reimbursement for chiropractic services. We offer discounted treatment packages to make your care more affordable.
