Dr. Cassandra Sepulveda

Hi!

Thank you for taking the time to consider me to be your family chiropractor. I understand there are many to choose from and it can be overwhelming, but I do believe that those who find me are meant to be a part of my practice.

My passion for helping families through chiropractic began when I was drawn towards a health profession that promotes the body’s natural healing process without the use of drugs or surgery. Since then, I’ve focused my practice on providing much needed care for women during all stages of pregnancy and for infants and children.

The principle of chiropractic is simple: take care of your body and it will take care of you.

Chiropractic gives me the ability to help individuals become more proactive about their health and well-being. More importantly, I can educate them on how to develop healthier lifestyle habits so they can avoid many of the common aliments in the future.

Lastly, I love my practice and all the people in it. I am truly blessed by the amazing patients I have and my talented assistants that make your chiropractic care possible.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

-Dr. Sepulveda

What is your background?

I was born and raised in Southern California and I never plan on leaving. Sunny, beautiful perfect weather is where I want to be - even if the traffic is horrible! I grew up playing volleyball, basketball, softball - and if you can believe it even did some cheerleading! I also spent a lot of time coaching youth sports and found my passion for working with children during that time.

How did you choose your profession?

The original plan was to go to medical school and become a pediatrician. My father had suffered a massive stroke when I was in high school and my passion for helping people in the medical field grew from there. Since I had such a great time working with kids I figured I would put the two together. While studying at UC Irvine, the idea of conventional medicine just didn't resonate well with me. I decided to change directions towards alternative health care and stumbled upon chiropractic. I had never even heard of it before - let alone experienced it. But the more I read up on it the more it became clear this is field I wanted to be in. While interning at my first chiropractic office, a pregnant woman brought in her toddler and they both got adjusted. I was shocked - we can treat pregnant women and kids? The answer was of course we can! That day I was sold. I had found my passion!

Why pregnant women and children?

I don't feel there are many chiropractors out here that focus on pregnancy and children and that's where I feel it is needed most! Pregnancy can be very stressful and difficult on the body and it should be addressed. Most women don't even know they can see a chiropractor. I've been teaming up with many midwives, doulas, and obstetricians in the area to spread the word so we can all work together to give pregnant women the best pregnancy experience possible!

What is your favorite part about being a chiropractor?

The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping people in a safe, gentle natural way and seeing their life change for the better because of it. I see many people who have never experienced chiropractic and are usually quite skeptical - then they are amazed when it actually works!

What is the most exciting thing that has happened in your practice?

There are so many exciting moments that happen on a daily basis but one of my all-time favorites was when one of my pregnant mommies ALMOST gave birth in my office.  We did have to call the paramedics and she delivered within an hour of leaving our office - 100% all natural VBAC birth! It doesn't get any better than that!

What do you do during your down time?

I love spending time with my little family, cooking, going to yoga and working on little DIY projects! As a momma of two young kids and two crazy labrador retrievers there are simply no dull moments in my life! They all come visit at the office from time to time so chances are - you'll meet them at some point during your care with me! :)

What is your favorite food?

I'm a major foodie - and usually eat pretty healthy but....French Fries are my favorite. Hands down.

What is your favorite quote?

"If your dreams don't scare you - they're not big enough" -Unknown
